While the world is still sweating through the final weeks of summer, I’ve already caught that little whisper of fall in the air.
Fall is one of my favorite seasons. Not just because of the crisp air, cozy blankets, and warm drinks, but because it feels like a fresh start.
🍁 Fall Prep for My eBay Shop
This year, I’m getting a head start on all things autumn in my BraySam Lane eBay shop. That means:
Designing new sublimated puzzles, bookmarks, and ornaments with warm fall palettes — think plaid scarves, pumpkin pies, woodland creatures, and golden leaves.
Prepping my cupcake toppers with autumn parties and Thanksgiving gatherings in mind.
Reorganizing inventory for easier shipping as the holiday season picks up.
Stocking up on packaging supplies (because who wants to run out of bubble mailers during pumpkin spice season?).
Planning bundles and gift sets early especially for cozy themes like “sweater weather,” fall birthdays, and early holiday shoppers.
🎯 Tip: If you’re a small shop owner too, prepping now means less stress later. Think about what your customers will be searching for next month, not just today.

🍂 Fall Prep in Everyday Life
Outside the shop, fall prep looks a little slower and sweeter.
I’m cleaning out closets and making space for layers goodbye sandals, hello boots.
Pulling out the seasonal decor: a few cozy throw blankets, a candle that smells like apple pie, and yes, my favorite glass pumpkins are making a comeback.
Prepping some simple, comforting meals for cooler evenings, like roasted veggies, soups, and sheet pan dinners that make the whole house smell like autumn.
Getting back to routines that ground me after the more carefree flow of summer. Waking up earlier, taking evening walks, and slowly reeling in screen time.
And of course… starting my annual hunt for the perfect new journal to capture the season’s magic 🍂
☕ Why Fall Prep Matters
There’s something really soothing about gently shifting into a new season instead of being thrown into it. Prepping ahead gives me room to enjoy the simple pleasures that fall brings, )warm drinks, flickering candles, cozy corners, and creative bursts in the studio).
Fall isn’t just a time change, it’s a mindset shift. And the better I prep now, the more space I create for joy, calm, and creativity when the leaves start to turn.
What’s on your fall prep list? Whether it’s switching out your wardrobe, updating your planner, or just stocking up on pumpkin-flavored everything, I’d love to hear how you ease into autumn 🍁
